Using wireless network if you want to take print out by your desktop or laptop then no worries just go through the following steps and you will find out what to do.
Things you’ll be needing while installing wireless printer:-
* Canon Printer
* Setup CD
* Computer
* Wireless Network
* Router
Steps to Follow:
1. Turn on your Canon wireless printer and attach the ink cartridges when flashed on the screen. If you have already connected to a desktop or Windows XP, go to step 7.
2.Scan and Print the alignment sheet as displayed on the printer screen. After completing Press OK.
3. For installing wireless network drivers of printer insert the setup CD after connecting your Canon printer via wireless network.
4. CD installation steps will be displayed on screen follow those instructions and find out your Wi-Fi connection signals. Mach that you are getting same Wi-Fi signals on both computer and printer. After ensuring that you have been connected with network follow step 5.
5.When all done try your printer by taking print out if your setup CD displays message to do the same.
6.After testing of print copy go and set printer as your default printer. You can do this by check marking next to settings of default printer option.
7.Search for printer connection in printer setup. This process can take little time. Before viewing USB connected printer on network option you have to enable file sharing option on both printer and computer.
8.Set your printer as default printer when it finds your printer. Now your printer is ready. Take a test copy for trying it’s working.
