Method 1 Disable Malicious Add-Ons :
Step 1. Click Tools -> Manage Add-Ons.
Step 2. In the “Show” drop-down box, select “All Add-Ons”.
Step 3. Disable add-ons that you no longer trust, especially those not having Publisher name.
Step 4. Click Close and then restart the browser.
Method 2 Scan and Remove the Virus, if any:
Download and install a good antivirus software, such as, Free Avast, Kaspersky Internet Security; and remove the virus.
Method 3. Change Settings of Internet Explore:
Step 1. Open Internet Explorer.
Step 2. Click Tools -> Internet Options.
Step 3. Ensure “Home Page” is set to your preference.
Step 4. In the “Search” category, click “Settings” button.
Step 5. In the “Search Providers” type, set your favorite engine as default search provider. To do so, select it, and then click “Set as Default” button.
